UPDATE: MAY 29 2021

Canada Post has suspended ALL on-time delivery guarantees due to the recent closing of a shift at a sorting facility in Mississauga. Canada Post has stated that they are evaluating and adapting their contingency plans to manage the impact this is having on their customers and have asked all Canadians to expect their packages to arrive later than usual.

It is important to note that Canada Post investigations into delayed packages have been reserved only for packages that are either:

A: delayed 21 business days past the delivery standard date.

B: deemed lost (no scans or updates for 15 business days)

Any package that is not 21 days past the delivery standard date will not be investigated by Canada Post.

 

Canada Post is our carrier of goods, however their operations are outside our control. From The Hearth is not responsible for the delay of packages and will not be replacing delayed packages that have not undergone an investigation.

Packages that are lost will be replaced following the results of an investigation.

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding and support during this time and we will continue to do our best to keep our customers informed as this situation progresses.

sHIPPING RATES

From The Hearth ships only within Canada and the United States. Shipping rates are currently all flat rates (all in Canadian dollars):

Canadian Shipping on Orders over $90 – FREE

Canadian Standard Shipping – $12 for 2-7 Business Days

Canadian Expedited Shipping – $16 for 1-4 Business Days

Canadian Standard Shipping to YT, NT, NU and Remote Areas – $50

United States Shipping – $20 for Standard Shipping (4-9 Business Days)

ORDER PROCESSING AND TRACKING

Once an order has been processed, we are unable to upgrade or change shipping methods. We are also unable to add a product, modify or cancel the items on your order once it has been confirmed.

Orders typically take 1-2 business days to process before they ship – excluding weekends and holidays.

You will receive an email confirmation with your order tracking number when your order ships. Please read the shipping notification email carefully.

Note that delivery date is always an estimate only, delivery times may vary depending on your location, weather conditions and other factors.

It is the client’s responsibility to track the package and pick it up on time from the community box, at the door or Post Office, as Canada Post might deliver the package sooner than ETA and/or leave it at your door. Any spoilage of temperature sensitive products resulted due to prolonged pick up time will not be refunded. Products ordered and delivered to any remote location and affected by extreme weather conditions cannot be refunded.

 

If your order is returned to us for any of the following reasons we will refund your payment method for the product returned minus the original shipping fees and any additional fees that might be incurred.

– Incorrect / Incomplete / Undeliverable address

– No one available to accept the delivery

– Order refused by the customer for any reason including damaged product/products

Please do not reject the whole order if it contains a damaged item. It will be re-shipped or refunded. Should you reject the order, it will be refunded upon return only in the amount of its total less the return shipping fee.

DAMAGED OR MISSING PRODUCTS

Any product damages or missing items must be communicated to us within 24 hours after the parcel is delivered. Damaged product photos should be sent to connect@from-thehearth.ca. Please DO NOT DISPOSE of the damaged product before the matter is addressed. In some cases we may ask for a product to be shipped back and will provide you with a pre-paid return label. Note, that if the product is not available, we will not be able to offer a refund or re-ship it.

I will gladly coordinate a refund or exchange within 30 days of the shipping date when returned in their original packaging. It’s as simple as that! No restocking fee. No return shipping payment. I hope this will give you the peace of mind to give these products a try and see how they work for you.

On subsequent purchases (because I am confident you will be back!)

I will gladly coordinate a refund or exchange within 30 days of the shipping date, providing the item(s) are unused, in new condition and in their original packaging. No restocking fee. No return shipping payment.

Please Note:

  1. Sale items or items purchased with a discount code (including a free shipping discount code) cannot be replaced, exchanged or returned for refund.

Events, Breakthrough Sessions, Memberships and Programs

Events/Breakthrough Sessions

I will gladly coordinate a refund on event tickets with a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to the event. Within 24 hours of the event I will coordinate a store credit for you to use on anything in the online shop. After the event start time has passed, no refunds or exchanges are available.

Memberships

Because you gain instant access to a membership area with multiple resources upon purchase, membership fees are non-refundable. When requested within 14 days of your purchase, I will gladly coordinate a store credit to your account for the pro-rated amount remaining on your membership should you wish to cancel. No credit requests are accepted after 14 days from the purchase date. You will retain your access to the membership for the full length of time covered by your payment.

Programs

The return policy for each program will be unique based on its length, method of delivery and medium. Please see the individual program offerings for more details!
